Based on the reviews this seems the model to get. The newer version has a bunch of problems and is double the price. While this isn't an all-time low, it's pretty darn close. You can get a reconditioned one too for about $10 less.
Only downside is this is not the brushless version (which as I mentioned is double the price and poorly reviewed).

FWIW Amazon isn't the seller. This tool was part of the B1G1 (buy a starter kit, get free tool) a few weeks back so you are just rewarding resellers who are parting out the free tools or authorized retailers doing funny business
I also don't know why Amazon is allowing the practice of inflating the list/MSRP on the product page to show a bigger discount. MSRP for this tool is $169.99. Seeing a lot of this lately and it's bad for the consumer

Totally agree. This really isn't a deal considering you could get this PLUS a 4.0Ah battery and charger for only $10 more a couple weeks ago.
I don't think the jigsaw was part of the free tool.
It was for the starter kit at $179.99 that had two 4.0ah batteries, charger, bag and it was for the 36v (18v x2) circular saw kits at $249.99 and two free tools deal with premium kit at $349.99-$399.99

Amazon does this with everything.
Ever notice how Amazon has Deals on Tools that are same day or next day delivery, and the same deals are going on at Home Depot or Lowe's?
I wonder if they work with local retailers in that sense, and just pick up the it's, put it in box, and set it at you're door?
That didn't have the Jigsaw as an option, or I'd have jumped on it.
Hmm. It's not in the list on that post, but I thought I saw it as an option when I was browsing the HD site. Maybe not. If it wasn't this last time, it was within the past year because that's how I got mine. (Bought a couple other things this time around.) Either way, this isn't a very good deal unless you're desperate for the saw.
