These used to be great when they came out, it was an easy way to make a pound of cheap hamburger feed a family. Not so much anymore, when is the last time you found cheap hamburger MadMadMadMadMad

I remember eating this as a kid when Hamburger Helper was a new thing. My dad hated it (but ate it anyway). I loved it. It's a nostalgic guilty pleasure for me. Thanks OP.

Um, no... if it was so obvious, why are so many Americans so... so... well... "slightly" overweight? Seems our education system no longer teaches "Health" in schools as it would be a detriment to big business.

FYI: I love this stuff but I gave up on life. So that is my excuse. What's yours?

NE Ohio here, just bought 20lbs of 80/20 from a local butcher shop for $1.99/lb. Grocery stores around me regularly have it for $2.99/lb for 73/27 for $3.99/lb for 80/20.

Yeah, it's weird. 2021 came around and a certain subset of the population decided you shouldn't have to shop around anymore. I shop around for deals like I always have and I've been fine. If the media didn't scream INFLATION every five minutes I wouldn't even realize there was some kind of issue at some grocery stores.

These things are insane calorie bombs. I remember I bought one in college and was shocked at that. To each their own though.
No they're not. Use skim milk and lean beef.

If you like these you should try the velveeta skillet version. They are a bit more but taste a bit better imo.

My local WalMart has this for $2.34. 74 cent savings!
What is your point? That's the regular price at Amazon, too, but this deal is cheaper.

Prime isn't free, so if you just want one item it's a better deal buying local.

The point, you missed it. Perhaps it is beneath you.

The reviews from 2021 are all saying this new formula are bad, I see Hamburger Helper has many flavors/varieties, which one is good? Never tried it before.
My family only likes the cheeseburger macaroni. We usually use half the meat called for also. It is a good thing to throw together when you only have a few minutes to get dinner ready.

Bought one years ago for nostalgia. Either my tastes changed or my memory is shot. It tasted terrible!
