I usually don't think the name brand is better than the store brand (Kroger, Kirkland, etc.) but for some reason this Reynolds Plastic Wrap is superior over any other brand

Is it like, thicker or something?

In my experience it's much stickier. Sticks to the side of a bowl or something much much easier than other brands. The Kroger brand never stuck well for me.

I'd agree that it's adhesion properties are noticeably better than any other lesser name brand variants.
It stretches farther & more evenly, and also clings better to more surfaces than any other brands that I've tried...and I've tried every brand I could find over the past +20yrs in stores and on Amazon to see if I could find a better or cheaper version but I haven't found a better-performing cling wrap yet.

While I can't tell a difference in store-brand aluminum foil, I can always tell the difference in the plastic wrap.

This has become my go-to.

I can definitely tell with alum foil in terms of thickness where thicker ones are more durable.

All I see is a .20 coupon…nonetheless, I got this item last time it was posted, and I can already tell I'm going to be buying it as my plastic wrap from now on. Such a simple, yet effective solution for the former frustrating method of cutting plastic wrap. Not sure why a month ago was the first time I'd heard of the product. Definitely worth the small premium vs. the price of clingwrap.

Oh yea, it does. You have to get the Heavy Duty kind. But I find the store-brand heavy duty is fine.
