There were a few studies recently that concluded high-fructose corn syrup is actually no worse for you than regular sugar… the idea that it was any worse for you was actually spawned out of crafty marketing by the sugar industry against the popular corn-derived alternative.

No different from the marketing of the 80's and 90's that made people think low-fat diets were needed (which in-turn made food manufacturers up the sugar content when lowering the fat). Low fat foods are actually harmful to your diet and often worse than their whole food original versions.

Those studies are often very skewed to get the result your talking about. Does that totally negate the last 20 years of studies about HFCS? No
