Some of the Trade in Values are much less this time (XR down to $250 and iP11 down to $350). . .some are higher like $640 for Galaxy S21 trade in. Perfect if you got the XR cheap 2 months ago, traded in for clearance S21, which can be traded in + $60 for an iP13. Can't trade the S21 on the base iP13 mini as TIV exceeds phone purchase price, but you could do it on the 256GB version.
The $640 Trade in Value on the S21 is as big a deal as the $100 off the iPhone.
And the $640 TIV seems good towards most TMO phones over $640, i.e. S22 line, Pixel 6
EDIT: $640 TIV is only for $128GB of S21. 256GB version fetches only $420.
QA Note: The $640 is only for the Black S21 color. The other colors are $420

I bought several phones over the course of a month.
they've raised the price now to 199, so I definitely won't be competing with you to buy them anymore lol.
Maybe they might drop the price again after the SE3 releases, maybe keep an eye on that page hehe.
1) You have an S21 to trade; Got an S21 from the closeouts or other deal AND
2) Because the $100 off is back after disappearing for a couple of weeks
EDIT: 3) Other are reporting that it's a pricing error and a manager would have to push it through, which is unlikely.
So, I guess it's not that slick after all.
For everyone else, as far as I can tell, there's no way to make it slick. XR people at $121, 140, 150 are worse off doing this. Same for every other config that was decent, such as iPhone SE 2nd Edition.
I was excited, but there's no way for me to make this work at a reasonable discount even with my leftover XRs and Giftcards from other Best Buy deals

The Trade in value is an error in BB trade in system online and in store. When you goto trade in your S21, the system will show you are actually trading in a S21 Ultra. The rep will likely not process your trade because it's a S21 and not an Ultra.
It might be possible that a Manager will still push it through but highly YMMV.
I repeat, their system in store will show that you are trading in a S21 Ultra. You are free to try your luck but this is a highly YMMV slick deal.
