Unless you like paying extra for controls, I wouldn't recommend eero. Like poster above said, you can only see bandwidth data within the week starting Sunday. If you want to see last week or a history? Fees. Any basic functions that other router includes are subject to additional fees. DDNS - fees, Adblock-fees, block sites - fees, content filters - fees. They should name it feero instead.

These are for 4 routers, not just 1 router + 3 extenders. Good deal considering 3-pack of routers is $244 on Amazon.

Might consider these if the TP-Link X60s don't work out.

I'm about to throw my Orbi Rk50) mesh in the garbage, not for the internet performance but for the lack of child control (Disney 1st Gen Circle is garbage) and not being able to see the data usage per each device (we live in a Xfinity 1.2TB household, hit this a couple times during lock-down).

Is Eero better in this regard on these 2 points? Id not Eero, any other mesh router?

Eero makes you pay a subscription to see details like that. I can see the week's usage on a per device level for free but monthly and beyond require a subscription.

I pay the subscription fee and really like the features it brings. I can set up child authorizations and see data usage. I also get access to 1Password and Encrypt.me that I use when on the road.

Sadly, anything running WiFi 6 like my TMobile home Internet needs something like this, and there's not much that's cheaper than this for now until TMobile drops their own extenders without myself going to lengths to set up something as a work around. I'll keep holding out unless someone knows a cheaper option for range that doesn't kill your budget?

Not sure if you are aware but you can pay a bit extra to get unlimited downloads on Xfinity.
I didn't know this until my brother informed me about it. It'll cost you an extra 30 bucks a month.

P.S. I have an Orbi Mesh and might swap it out for Eero due to Homekit issues.

Yes, we are aware and currently paying the extra $30 but I do want to get rid of it. I think it is ridiculous on their part.

I got the Eeros now installed and so far it is a better overall experience and glad I went this way.

Gotcha. Glad the Eero is working out for you. I may join you soon.

The Orbi is overall great but it hasn't been the greatest with my hubless HomeKit design.

Just swapped to Eero with the Ring pro after ditching Tp-link from Costco and Ubiquiti prior. Pretty impressed with Eero so far. Raw signal/speed tests are a little lower (as I haven't properly blanketed my new house) but everything just works and very nice UI. Fancy Tp-link was great but kept dropping my Google homes and the settings and UI left a lot to be desired. My ubiquiti setup was an old reliable one that required an upgrade and they are having major stock issues. Eero has been plug and play and Eero secure comes with my Ring Sub and I've been happy so far. Happy to answer any questions.

How about the TP-Link Deco X60 Wi-Fi 6 AX3000 that's also on sale right now? Or is there another one that you might recommend? Thanks!

Did you have the tp link deco mesh router or just a single tp link router? I have a single tp link router but not much of a fan

What do you mean that it comes with ring pro? I'm looking at Eero and it doesn't mention that on their site, but interesting if that's the case.

Just started transitioning to Wifi 6 devices here, and I was wondering if this would be a good option bet for my situation, or if anyone has other suggestions I'd love to hear them. Price and performance are my main concerns, at least 3 routers to start and the option to add a 4th. Dedicated backhaul preferred, and a wired option would be nice, but we can probably live without either. I do not need advanced stats or logging, nor child protection features, and I will not pay a BS monthly fee for anything.
