I think these have gone on sale a number of times at Woot over the last half year or so, but figured there might be some people out there who had missed the previous sales and were still interested.
An additional 10% discount is available if you purchase through the Woot app, bringing the price down to $71.99 before tax and sweetening the deal a bit more.

I have this slicer. It worked really well until someone misplaced the little plastic lock that holds the blades on. It has been out of stock since the beginning of time on their website. The slices when we used it got gradually thicker so something to be aware of but easily fixed with the adjustment nob. It really did a great job otherwise and saved us a fortune in cold cuts.
I sous vide several pieces of roast beef or a whole pork loin, then finished them with high heat for a nice crust. Bagged the slices in ziplocs and froze them taking them out as needed.
I want this so bad, but I know I would use it like twice a year.
What else do people use this for other than deli style meats?
How thin can you get beef slices for like pastrami/reubens?
Finally, how easy is this to clean after a slicing session? Can it be taken apart for the dishwasher?
Many models in this price range for 7" blade and presumably on low Watts (<200w) side. This MSRP is a joke & I would question how good Woot returns is (same as Amzn?) bec this is a 50/50 of going back.
I've had the 10 & 12" 300w+ food slicers on my list for awhile but they rarely drop in price. Looking to cut semi frozen a5 wagyu from Costco deal.
Edit: this thing is only 100watts, they'd be lucky to get sales price.

You can use it to slice up cheeses (hard versions) and fruits/veggies.
This particular model is garbage though and you may get a few uses out of it before it breaks.
Cleaning is a bit of a chore but it is easy to take apart. I would not put any of the parts in the dishwasher .
Slices of meat can be very thin at first but it will not give you consistently thin slices due to the blade width opening not staying where it is set to. They cheapened out and made quite a few parts out of cheap plastic. You are better off paying more and getting a better unit. This is barely worth even the sale price of $71.99
