They work together. You used to need 2 switch consoles to play with 2, but they updated the game, and now you can play split screen.

I think it's a great price, the rc cars look great even just sitting on a shelf. I thought the game was cool but my kids did have problems with watching the cars instead of the screen, which can mess you up in the game. You also need a large area for setup.

The game is a free download from the Nintendo Switch store, so just make sure you're connected to Wifi on your console & you have an account with Nintendo.

Maybe for 60 but the original price is a rip off. It's a rather niche gimmick and you need a bunch of room to set it up. I doubt this has legs for more games to be developed for it so it's likely to just collect dust pretty quick.

This is the usual sale price. It comes down to this every so often.

Honestly, it depends on the kids. Half the fun is setting up track. If you go on YouTube, you can find some really cool and creative tracks that can give you some ideas. I think if your kids like setting things up, like Legos, Hot Wheels tracks, etc, they will love this.
