FWIW, these are listed on KC Tools website as the holder being made in Germany and the hex keys themselves being made in the USA.
The KC Tools storefront is pretty verbose about country of origin, selling German and higher end tools is the whole stores gimmick.
I bought these from KC a year or two ago and searched it because I found that interesting, there wasnt much info out there on any other sites. Wiha has been all over the place with country of origin.
Im inclined to believe the keys are USA made because Bhondus sells identical sets, in different holders. I just looked and neither of my Wiha holders say Made In Germany on them.

It doesnt really matter, but regardless they arent made in China like the amazon listing says.

The hex wrenches that come with cheap furniture are soft steel that can't stand up to real work.

Anyone else want to post some more examples of how you can get worse products for less? Surely ORFOOBLE makes a set? ARFTLXY? Maybe DUHLRP? All much authentic, very quality for your time brands!

That generic quality set doesn't get this small and the ball ends are pretty likely to strip or break off, especially on the smaller sizes.

While the brand is good, this is a pretty small range of keys. Not a lot more for a more full set:

Those are not wiha in the link.

Please post a compatible product not some cheap Allen's that bend and twist permanently when you go to use them

These Wiha sets cover smaller sizes than the sets you linked. Very specialized but great if you need them.

Quality between Amazon Basics and Wiha isn't comparable.

I'd like to add that in this size range, a proper fit of the tool to the fastener is imperative. Using a cheap tool that doesn't fit well is a recipe for stripping out the bolt head. You can often get by with a little slop in larger sizes, but with fasteners this small there's no room for error.

I literally have collected POUNDS of these over the years. They come with every tool, appliance, piece of cheap furniture. I can't imagine actually paying for them.
In these sizes? I find that highly improbable, possible, but improbable.

But even so, the holder is worth the price of admission. Without that, how do you keep these little keys straight?

Thanks! The smaller ones come in handy every so often. Also, I see metric version for same price. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B001ATK...JE43BBXP94

That set doesn't have the smaller sizes in these Wiha sets. The whole point of the Wiha sets is that they contain the smaller sizes normally not found in larger sets. They are not meant to be a substitute for a full set but an add-on to one.
