How is this compared to the Fire Stick 4K? Is it worthwhile to get an Apple TV? Any suggestions would be appreciated! Pretty much in apple system already...

Curious about this as well, looks like Amazon's got the streaming stick for 38 and last week had the streaming stick+ for 49. Wondering if either of those are worth the extra money

I've bought a couple of these. They're pretty good. I've only used them at 1080P, but it's nice having a bit more power than you need.

I haven't seen any reports. But, perhaps they are attempting to clear out inventory of the 2021 models in anticipation of the 2022 model coming out soon. Just speculating here. I did notice that it tops the CNet list of Best Roku devices to buy in 2022. For whatever that's worth. https://www.cnet.com/tech/home-en...best-roku/

I am still using 1080p at the moment. I decided to buy the 4k version to future-proof it. Maybe this coming Prime day I will make the leap to 4k.

From what I can gather the $38 Roku has Dolby Vision. The $45 Roku has a greater Wifi range. Some might find those things enough to justify the extra cost.

Both the $29 and $49 Models are compatible with Apple AIrplay.

I am kind of disappointed that you need to step up to the $69 model to get Bluetooth. That is one of my big gripes with Roku devices. In this day and age, they don't offer Bluetooth connectivity on all their devices. It sure would be nice to be able to use a keyboard when doing a search or a controller when playing games.

But, I have an android tv box connected to that TV as well. So, I can play better games using the Android TV box.

Don't get the sticks. They overheat very easily. If you plan to ever leave one running overnight more than twice a week, expect it to die within the warranty period

Anyone know if you can disable HDR on these? My TV won't let me do it, so I want a stick that will allow me to stream 4K sports without the terrible HDR faded color.
