This thing is economical and does its job for my small front lawn that's less than 1000sq ft. You'll want to get something better for a bigger lawn.

Having a non-removable battery kills this for me. Was thinking of giving it as a gift to a elderly person but they don't have a way to charge it outside. Too bad, looks like a nice little mower otherwise.

You can replace the battery by removing the hood. Should take around 10 minutes. However, we cover this unit for 2-years with a replacement mower. Hope this helps

Is this good to mow a lot which has grass in 5000 square feet ??
Just to clarify, our total lot sqft is 8500 sq ft.

Too late to order now but battery lasts around 40 minutes in real world use according to reviewer. So if you can mow your lawn in 30-40 minutes of run time you are good.
