I have read this over 10 times. Great characters, settings, and scientific details!
Every time I hear about Elon Musk's Hyperloop, I wonder if he got the idea from this book.

Supposedly a movie version is in the works . Prayers that Verhoeven isn't on the same continent as the production...

FWIW, Starship Troopers wasn't true to the source but it was true to the message.

Eh, when I read it I didn't get from it any of the satirical anti-fascism stuff the movie does. It's a science fiction story that takes place in a fascist society but doesn't particularly have a message one way or the other with regards to that society (IMO).

Heinlein writing sci-fi about throwing rocks at Earth before the Expanse made it cool. Stick Out Tongue

Really a great book. Touches on a lot of cool themes and really creates a very interesting world (worlds?) to explore. If you're a fan of sci-fi, definitely worth a read, and a steal at this price. I had originally rented from the library, but want to own it to re-read anytime . . . Thanks OP.
