What I like about these is getting a poe switch and running a cat 5 to them and using a poe to usb adapter so its always on where I need them the most. Batterys last for a year, and I have proof of that. These are the best budget cameras out there IMO.

I had Wyze and switched to these bc the human and pet detection are free and the image quality is so much better. I'm working on switching out all my wyze for eufy.

Any one comments on battery? Unreplaceable battery makes me very worry if you get one with bad battery.

Thanks for your quick response with poe option. That should ease my concern.

Since I already have the homebase I assume an extra one is useless right?

I've had my system for a while now with zero battery issues.
Since I live in the city in a busy street my, I receive multiple notifications so the battery is drained quicker though they tend to last 3-4 months.
I recently purchased the solar panels and have been very happy with them as the cameras have a constant charge.

You could probably use that base for extra storage or extend the range for the cameras.

Is this the real 2k version? seems decent if it is. I was just looking at new version for 240.

I have a bunch of "stand alone" Eufy cams, but non with the base thing. If I'm jumping into it now, at this price point would it be worth it buy more than one set of these just for the extra cameras?

Oh OK thank you. I didn't want to resell the homebase or have a paperweight if it didn't serve a purpose to have two.

I already have a home base for my doorbell. Any idea if this second home base could serve as a chime for my basement? Sure would be nice to hear a doorbell when we don't have the phone on us for the app. Would hate to have the home base go to waste.

I've been running them (renew) since last year and so far so good. One battery charge good for 3 months in high traffic area (facing the main road)
