Junk. I've had to repeatedly replace my Fiskar multipurpose garden hand tool. Last year I broke 3 of them. The only thing I use it for is to cut the sod around my sprinklers when I'm doing maintenance/repair. Always snaps in the same spot - just below the guard/top of the handle. Such a PIA.

I have this one [harborfreight.com] from HF and is sturdy and well made. They typically have 10-25% off coupons every month or so and it will cost about the same price as fiskars.

I got a Fiskars set about 5 or 6 years ago from Rite Aid, believe it or snot. They've been the only hand tools that have lasted and the grip is comfortable.

That's the weak spot. At least this is one peace instead of those welled at that weak spot.

Loosening soil, working new soil into old soil, breaking up clay soil along the walls of a hole for a new planting, etc. Prongs are good for avoiding damage to beneficial worms.

I generally like Fiskars and they stand behind their products but I haven't tried these (I've got some plastic Fiskars trowels that I don't care for but they were super cheap). However, I do have a metal OXO trowel / transplanter that I have abused for years and it's still going strong. Nice fat comfy rubber grip, too.

Mine broke in the same spot as the fiskars, where the handle meets the shovel.
