The only reason price drops so much is Intel/AMD/Nvidia will release a new patch of GPU line up, refresh, and at a pretty competitive price. That is why all those 3rd party prices drop. Clear out the old for the new GPU. The same bs like AMD CPU prices drop. Which is good, but just beware of it.

Pretty close to a 3070 in performance. It's between a 3060ti and 3070.

Posting before the inevitable ask by someone who can't Google things.

Reference MSRP is $480 but like the Nvidia Founder's Editions, very hard to find considering AMD is the only one who sells the reference model. If I didn't have a good GPU already I'd buy this.
