Looks like a good find. I'm just not sure about settling for Dual-Band. ☹️

It's people who do this that pushed Costco to restrict electronics to 90 day returns. Don't abuse the generous return policy so it can continue.

This actually looks good since I have my home wired based on the review below.
https://dongknows.com/netgear-sxk...ni-review/

I'll be updating from a wifi5 orbi rbk50 system I got from Costco in 2019.
Any other thoughts or feedback if it's a worthwhile upgrade?

Edit:
Looks like Amazon is matching netgears sale price, but you get 5 years free insight premium on netgears website.

If you want a wireless set up (especially if your upgrading to wifi 6) I'd spend a little more and look at the eero or Velop as they'll perform better with sub-gig connections and have less latency issues.

Tp link support and reliability is better plus Costco return and extended warranty. I would go tplink if you need. Personally waiting until triband mesh get cheaper

You might as well wait and just jump to 6e ( which is already available) which actually makes a real word difference. As it uses a completely new band. WiFi 6 uses 160ghz but it's not a big leap forward as it's still part of the 5ghz band (which is still very good)

Perhaps but where one lives would be the most important question. If that person lives in a building with many floors and apartments surrounding him then 6e would be helpful but living in a home where is there no other Wi-Fi competition would make paying the extra for 6e less beneficial. And Orbi 6e vs 6 is a significant upcharge today. In 6 months/1 year maybe not so much.

I've got a triband mesh system, but I honestly haven't seen any performance boost from the dual band systems I have seen. It really shouldn't be a deal breaker for the average household.

I have a WiFi6 triband system from Orbi that only allows 2 networks (Home and Guest) and wondering if adding this Pro model in our home to have isolated IoT network would be going overboard?

It does say it does 110-240v too>

I'm not quite on the market for a new mesh system but would upgrade if the right price came along. We have the original Velop and I'm still more than satisfied. The dual band here is a deal breaker for me—will probably end op waiting for prices to drop in the next 6-12 months for tri-band 6e

Still running an RBK50 with 5 satellites total, and it still is fast enough in 2022. I can max out around 500Mbps near a node. Wireless backhaul.
