For anyone complaining about the $45 eGC, here's a link for a similar $45 promotion except this is applied as an instant $45 off $45 or more in-store purchase that will be applied to your account within 72 hours. ***MUST CHECK-OUT AT REGISTER. NO SCAN-N-GO!!! See additional terms in link.
This is literally a scam! Go for it if you don't mind calling them over and over again like begging them for $45. Jesus, assuming you spend 30 mins for each call, your hourly pay is like 45/(30*10/60)=$9. Let alone it will makes you angry.
eGift card emailed 4 weeks later kills the deal. Last year, we print out the terms of the deal with deal code and instructions, go to store, show it to customer service, paid $45, got membership card, and got $45 physical gift card all in one trip to store. No dragging the process out over a month.

In the past a "New Member" to be eligible has been defined as a non-member for at least 6 months. I read the entire T&C as provided and there is no mention of the 6 month requirement. Anyone know what happens with this offer?

4 week wait kills the deal? It's still a free membership, you're just impatient.

Also did the same. However, this time there are no instructions for the store rep to follow so knowing the quality of most of their reps, would think they will just turn you down and request you do online.

Yup. Activated membership and spend the $45 right there on the spot. Haven't gone back since my closest club is 35+ miles away.
