There can be 3 issues with this
1. Legal issues (WRT Gov)
2. Vendor issues (Companies like MSFT, GOOGL, AAPL, etc)
3, Account at risk for hacking, miss using data by vendor etc
Firstly,
Using VPN is legal (some countries have stricter restrictions but I am in the US and it is all good here). I have dual citizenship and I often have subscriptions working in different countries. All of them are family accounts and it's impossible to maintain all of them in 1 country.
Second,
Companies recognize and have guardrails in place to prevent exploitation already. Prime doesn't allow prime delivery in other countries but allows to view video content and use music. Netflix same, I use one drive/ MS product registered in my home country. Even the companies recognize this and should allow it otherwise we go to their competition. Google gives VPN with Fi and google drive 2TB.
Thirdly,
This is eminent. Irrespective of whatever you do, your info is at risk. Even if you keep it safe all the vendors might not be. Try to shop at vendors who have a good track record, doesn't matter which country they are from. Of course, some countries don't have strict data privacy policies and if you open accounts in vendors registered and governed by those countries then you def have to follow that.
Do your due diligence, but there are a def lot of safe options around.

I am curious, tho, if anyone knows how long these keys will last if you can't redeem right now. It would be ideal to buy keys, redeem, and convert all in a day, but would be interesting to know if anyone has good experience with keys from CDKeys lasting a while and still being redeemable months after purchasing.
