I logged into my Verizon FiOS account (via iOS app) and much to my surprise received an offer for an upgrade to 300/300 from 200/200 for the same monthly price of $39.99 and no change in terms (no contract with autopay). I am based in PA, US. The only hardline competition locally for me is Comcast Xfinity with some coverage for T-Mobile 5G broadband (which may be influencing the offer).
I did not receive a mailer either physically or electronically. This simply came up as an option when I clicked on Internet—>Upgrade my speed. Granted I had already been receiving speeds above 200/200 prior to the upgrade, but this formalizes it.
Autopay via bank account or debit card is required, at least for my account.

Does the $10 auto-pay paperfree discount drop off for everyone
if you make a one time payment ?
It seems it will show you are still autopay-enrolled but the discount will be gone in the next bill.
Is this a glitch or by design?
NOTE: I think I lost the credit because I was going to a VZW store to pay with my credit card even though I had autopay enabled.
