That means that for a $500 retail bike, the shop paid $350. Plus, recently they've had to pay $50 shipping for each bike, a charge which used to be waived for large orders but not anymore. After assembly, any ongoing free maintenance and customer service, they would be losing money if they gave a 20% discount and sold that bike for $400.
And that's not even including all the expenses to keep the doors open, like rent, salaries, insurance, utilities, advertising, etc.

It's a super comfortable backpack too. I had to loosen the straps a bit but it hugs my back and doesn't fatigue me at all. Still would recommend you try it out first since YMMV.
I fly approx. 120 times a year so a good backpack that can hold a ton and fit under the seat in front of me is a must.
EDIT: Can't forget about Osprey's lifetime warranty and great customer service. One of the main reasons I buy their products.
May go for a Solo fire pit this year (unless someone here can dissuade me) or the hammock stand.
I do know "car racks" were definitely excluded (My friend tried to get one the same day using the 20% code and was denied).

I have never seen it on sale for any cheaper, but maybe it has and I missed it: https://www.rei.com/product/17439...mock-stand
