Q: Why go through all this effort of ranking and such?
Because companies are supposed to incentivize us by offering us deals. However, it appears that many businesses have recently taken us for granted and stopped making any deals or concessions.
I'm hoping that, on all major occasions, my fellow SDers, in their own way, would continue listing both the generous and the cheap businesses all in one place. This way we incentivize companies to step up their game or risk losing us to competitors.

edit: I emailed support and I talked to the cashier when I picked up and they said they'd refund the difference. Just got an email confirming the refund.
