The refurbished items from comgrow are just returns they send back out. I'm fighting with them now over a cr10s I bought that came messed up, missing parts had dog hair in the box, all the parts were dirty. They didn't reply to my emails until I opened a dispute with paypal.. their solution was to send me a v2 which came with Christmas wrapping paper still on the box and the previous owners info still on the box. Would stay away from this place.

I bought an E3 V2 refurb from them over a year ago and am still very happy considering the cost savings. It had signs of use and some additional holes drilled in the uprights but the nozzle was new and everything was clean and worked well. That said, I didn't really care because I was planning on making a bunch of hardware changes anyways so just needed the base frame and controller. If you need it to work out of the box, stick with a new one. But if don't mind the chance of tinkering with it you can save a good amount of money.

ive never had a bad experience with them, had a fan die on me a month after I got it. they sent me a new one within a week. But ur right they only take PayPal so you get buyer protection so its like no risk.

I've purchased several refurbished machines from them with no issues. I just pulled the trigger on another refurbished Ender 3 S1.

I bought 2 new ones ender 3 v2 for $520 out the door with free shipping , thats $260 each two weeks ago directly from creality website. Just checked and its $262 each. So far so good and no worries about any nightmare scenario of it being used or refurbished. i got them fast, within 4-7 days using US stock and paid no tax. 🤑

Good price as long as the printer's in good shape. I think that's a hair less than I paid for my Voxelab Aquila, which is pretty much a clone of this.

The 3 S1 looks nice though I understand it shouldn't be that hard to build mine into.

Only take Paypal? Paypal Buyer Protection is a joke. I can't use Paypal anymore because they gave me a temporary credit and then decided in favor of the seller who refused to respond to me, and reversed the credit leaving me with a negative balance. If you're relying on that to protect your purchase, good luck...
