I think Starbucks reads customer complaints more from their channels rather than a Slickdeals post about buying coffee on Amazon. Shoot them a letter for the best response.

Starbucks does not franchise, they are all corporate stores, exceptions are Airports and grocery locations, all the rest are owned by Starbucks.

Profits above quality and service like most businesses nowadays.

I recall when I was a kid. Dunkin Donuts was a treat.Fresh coffee,hot cocoa AND freshly made donuts.

Nowadays their coffee taste like they reused last week's grounds and their donuts get delivered from a factory.

You can make cold brew with any ground coffee. It's better to use more coarsely-ground beans, but this stuff will work just fine if you don't mind a liiittle bit of coffee sludge in the bottom of your cup.

starbucks is a business, it's obligation is to it's shareholders not you. gone are them days when starbucks was a small company. and with the large size come the normal BS of a big organization (shareholders, pivoting speed and issues, scaling . . . .). the reality is that starbucks never sold coffee, they sold experience . . . anyone can make better coffee and for much less, local small coffee bars can replicate starbucks at 1/2 the price. it's so competitive that many starbucks locations have closed . . . reminds me of other businesses like: blockbuster, barnes & noble, Borders, circut city . . .

Costco is cheaper by maybe 50 cents when it's on sale and also has 4 more ounces granted that it's whole bean but not grounded.. 2 18oz bags from this deal = 36oz. At Costco, it's 1 40oz bag.
