I've heard not so good things on CPS warranties, any first hand comments on claims here? Costco has the same price (with no burn in protection obviously), but more generous return policy.

That was probably before the VRR update that these TVs just received. I can confirm that VRR on this model works perfectly. Tested via Elden Ring on my Xbox Series X and it was insanely smooth.
It's got 120Hz at 4K with VRR, it's not like it sucks at gaming.
Before the update, only C1 has VRR. Now that the update is here, the only difference is slightly better input lag, but we are talking 3ms vs 10 ms so it is really a moot point.
I have both. I like the pq from my cabletv on the sony much more than c1
