Bought lg oled has bad burn in and lg would not replace … would not buy an lg but yes on the Sony!!
LG c1 and this sony use the same LG panel. I bet both could have same burn in issues, but don't expect sony to do you any favors out of warranty.

Pretty sure the 'best' TV of the year is basically around this price, at least recently. OLED has a lot of manufacturing issue and panels actually fail which drives up the cost. As the panels can be created with less failure, TV prices will come down, but also when QLED/OLED's tech comes out (at a reasonable price 23-24) this will likely be ready to come down to the 1k ULED's get today

has the 77" been cheaper than the $2999 costco is asking for?
At Costco it's been $2899 a few times over the last several months. I jumped on it at that price last time. It's a fantastic tv.

I don't think Costco ever carried the 55" version of the A80J

Looking for someone that knows OLED inside and out. Would you suggest this one or LG OLED65C1AUB.AUS?

Mostly want it for streaming and general TV usage will be in a room that is not in direct sunlight.

If you're just using for TV, Movies, etc., go with the A80CJ. If you're a big gamer go with the LG C1. I don't game and bought the A80CJ in late October at this same price. I'm beyond satisfied with my purchase, I love this tv.

I bought Sony for its atsc 3.0 tuner and color accuracy. I think Sony also has better speakers

need to reduce the 77" Sony
Yep I'm there too. Almost pulled the trigger on the 85" Samsung 90a at 2500 but it won't fit inside my entertainment center. The 77" will perfectly—waiting patiently (mostly).
