I have a $140 best buy GC that i need to spend
I had bought a $650 costco laptop deal last month but did not open it right away and when the bill hit my credit card I had 2nd thoughts and returned it
It was 16 and 512
my old computer is 8 and 256 and it will probably last a few more years although my comma period and question mark keys are broken and it makes me seem uneducated- nah just tight
My store has an open box excellent for $280--- thats even better assuming I get the full warranty
Actually its now showing $29799-- did they jack the price because I put it in my que or did I misread the price

Is this good enough for video editing? An old smartphone can do a certain amount of video editing. It really depends on personal usage situations, which will vary, and patience. Even professional video editing equipment requires time to process.
People complaining about screen resolution and tech are making suggestions for technology not likely available at this price point not a dealbreaker for everyone. If you can't afford or don't care about bells and whistles, don't pay for them. You won't know until you see it in person on display or try it at home. Even then, if you are in person, make sure you can actually view legit usage and not demo junk. Every OLED TV you walk by at the store is probably using content created by the manufacturer to make the strengths shine. Put on an episode of jeopardy or the same movie on all the screens, turn them all to the same default picture settings… you will have a different perspective, for sure.
Lastly - Lenovo is a complex company. It essentially owns large parts of IBM, including their PC business. If you think your personal data is really something any government is tracking, probably a sign you are into shady things. Otherwise, you probably post everything and more on social media or is tracked through your credit card, tracking cookies, etc. So…if you want to wear a tin foil hat, stay off the internet and pay cash. For everyone else, don't think your life is so interesting that any government (including your own) has the resources to track law abiding citizens.

Do I really need "rich colors" when I am not watching Movies or playing games?
Not to mention the higher power consumption
