Yeah... the 55". If the 65" was ever $999.99, there would have surely been a thread here on SD, but there hasn't been.

No, it definitely has not at Costco. This is the lowest price it has been there. Previously the cheapest has been $1199. At $999 I'm pretty damn sure it didn't have 7 years of warranty either.

Grabbed an open-box for $865, tax and 7yr warranty (costco executive citi visa) included. Pro-tip per Costco floor employee: check warehouses on Fridays for open-box deals cos scumbags are returning their Superbowl sets that they never intended on keeping lmfao.

Better deal than the Amazon post if you have a Costco membership.

Looks like an awesome tv but unfortunately for my living room I need something with decent viewing angles and better reflection handling.

Are you saying this TV can't handle outside light from windows ? Also looking for 65, 70 or possible 75 inch that has good reflection handling from windows. Which model are you leaning towards?

Yes, supposedly two of the issues with this tv are poor viewing angles and poor handling of direct reflections. https://www.rtings.com/tv/reviews/sony/x90j . As far as what I am currently considering mabey the Samsung qn85a since that has good viewing angles and does a good job of overcoming reflections. I'm still researching though.

OMG thank you for this post. I'm exactly 30days since I bought this TV for $1199 during the super bowl. Will go to the warehouse for price adjustment. Basically, this post just gave me 2 free tanks of gas LOL!

Is X90CJ as same as X90J at BestBuy?

Maybe C stands for Cosco, lol.

Have these improved from a reliability standpoint? I had the 65" 900e and 900f, and both had a lot of nits and bugs. The 900e got stuck in a permanent reset loop at the android logo, and the 900f would sometimes just refuse to turn on until I unplugged it for a few minutes. We replaced the power supply on the 900f but no change.

Picture on both was really great, but they just seemed like they were running beta internals.

Before someone says it, two different houses and cities for the 900f too, so that wasn't the issue.

yes, X90CJ is the same as X90J, "C" stands for Club I believe, Sam's Club would have the same part number. As far as I'm aware when I did the research, The "CJ" model has hand free voice remote whereas the X90J doesn't have, but I never test/confirm that with my X90CJ model.

I'm in the same boat, got this at 1199 last time which was just about 2 months ago. Going to my local Costco later to see if they can adjust the price. Costco rep online says I can only adjust the price in 30 days, but doesn't make sense if they limit that since people would just return and buy a new one between the 30-90 days period. One Reddit forum said they will honor price adjustment up to 90 days but you need original receipt, which I never keep since Costco doesn't need it for return. Anyone had similar experience with this?
