Don't buy antibacterial soap.

Is antibacterial soap better than plain soap?
Use plain soap and water to wash your hands. Studies have not found any added health benefit from using antibacterial soap, other than for professionals in healthcare settings. In 2016, FDA banned over-the-counter sale of antibacterial soaps that contain certain ingredients because these soaps are no better than plain soap at preventing people from getting sick and their ingredients may not be safe for long-term, daily use. *Some studies have shown that using antibacterial soap may contribute to antibiotic resistance.*

Scientifically, most germs bacterias are dead using conventional regular soap. and this is how you get MRSA.

Most of the Softsoap deals on SD in the past few weeks are well cheaper per ounce than this. About ~30% cheaper. And I think most people would put the two brands as roughly equal.

Thankfully the first comment discusses this topic. Antibacterial soap is literally a scam. Unless it's special made for hospitals or similar environments you are wasting money by buying this. And if it is made for those environments, you still wouldn't ever need it in your home. Although I'm sure a few exceptions could be made. LMAO

That's about triclosan, not what's in this one, benzalkonium chloride.

In response to comments submitted by industry, the FDA has deferred rulemaking for one year on three additional ingredients used in consumer wash products – benzalkonium chloride, benzethonium chloride and chloroxylenol (PCMX) – to allow for the development and submission of new safety and effectiveness data for these ingredients. Consumer antibacterial washes containing these specific ingredients may be marketed during this time while data are being collected.
