I saw that this hit front page this time last year at $24.97, so I figured i'd share this.

Pennzoil's naming methodology adds confusion to the mix; if you bought the "full synthetic" line, that particular product is not eligible for the rebate. If you bought Platinum, that product line is.
I assume you meant 'Platinum Full Synthetic' but if not...wanted you to be aware.

Here is my experience of submitting the rebate form (and it contradicts some misinformation on this thread).

I ordered four 5 quart ultra platinum full synthetic from Amazon. All four were in one transaction. This may or may not be a problem in getting two $25 rebates, I don't know. As some of the posts have suggested, it may be the case that this should have been in two separate transactions to qualify for two $25 rebates. Will find out.

The online rebate process is 3 steps/pages:
  • Page 1: On this page, you can specify how many corresponding offers you are claiming. Ironically, regardless of the offer, you can only enter 1 through 4. This is a bit confusing, as there is 2 rebates limit per household. As I had purchased four 5 quarts, I initially entered 4, but then realized that even for the ten 1 quart offers, the highest number you can enter is 4 (as opposed to 20 to indicate that you've purchased twenty 1 quarts). So the UI must mean how many rebates you are claiming, but why allow values 3 and 4? Anyways, I entered 2. Also, Amazon.com is a participating retailer from the pull down regardless of your zip code.
  • Page 2: Upload your receipt.
  • Page 3: Confirmation. Note: There is no gift card selection choice on this page, as some have mentioned on this thread.

I saved Page 3 for my own record. I also received an email confirmation, which went to spam. So check your spam folder and whitelist the from email address.

Will have to wait and see if I will in fact get two $25 gift cards and see what the choices are.

I did 4 x 5 qrts, same deliver day delivery but different order numbers on Amazon. Will probably do as two separate rebates. 🤷
