So, on the plus side, the cooling really does work. It's not just a gimmic. I should probably replace the ear pads it came with with larger ones (due to the issue i brought up in my previous post).

The audio is good for gaming or watching youtube videos or whatever, but i've never used these to listen to music. I believe the mic also auto-mutes when you push it up out of your face.

They *are* heavier than most headsets, but not impossible to deal with unless i guess you have the neck muscles of a newborn.

Honestly, i do not regret buying these (for $10 more than this deal) for the sole purpose of gaming.

Windows 11 wasn't out when these were released. I use the omen hub with some accessories now and it works just fine on windows 11.

I have this headset and the cooling plate does get really cold. The one drawback is if the cups cover a lot of your ear, the cooling effect is kind of negated.

I really liked this headset but ear cups got unglued after about 1.5 years of usage and I couldn't find replacements

I have one and it was good for about 8 months and the cups started peeling off. You can glue them back on but they don't look as good. The cooling system is amazing and specially on a hot day if you don't have AC at home. The sound I still amazing. The surround sound is great, but I don't like the application. In the end you can still do a lot of modifications.

I have this and it works well for the first 10 minutes then it's kinda weird.

I would just go with open-back audiophile headphones that also allow for ventilation naturally. The sound quality is better on audiophile headphones too.

Had this headset for a year, the cooling was really great for summer although if it's too hot out it will develop condensation. I will say this, my headset did break 2 times and I had to get it replaced through warranty. The warranty dept was super easy to navigate and was really helpful - it's just the headset is very flimsy - I had issues with the microphone the first time and the second time one of the sides stopped working. Nevertheless, I got mine for $50 a couple of years ago, for $60, I would say it's a pretty good deal - I would even say this headset provided me the best audio in FPS shooters like Apex (in terms of virtual surround sound and hearing foot steps/shots).

Edit: forgot to note that this headset is on the heavier side because of the cooling.

The same as PS4. You need to use the windows app to adjust the settings on the headphones. If you have a Windows PC, you can plug it into there and adjust the setting, then move it to the Playstation. Keep in mind this is a USB headset, so it needs to be plugged directly into the console. Meaning you'll need a USB extension if you're more than a couple feet away from the console. Honestly, there are better options for console gaming. That said, this is tempting just for the cooling feature, but I have much better sounding headphones and can't bring myself to buy these just for that feature.
