Not big on the new forced subscription push. Moved to open source Money Manager Ex and haven't looked back.

Weird that it won't work on digital delivery. Can save tax that way by using tax free state address.

ebay webpage says "Please note product is limited to new subscriber activation/installation only". So we cannot use it for renewal?

This deal isn't on ebay - it is on Newegg.

I'd like to get some opinions. This is a physical copy CD with code in the box for activation. Their rule is that codes expire 24 months after purchase if you don't use them. But how do they know when the box was purchased? Of course they don't know this. So can I buy a few years worth of physical copies and renew my subscription annually?

The codes eventually expire. I purchased this from Newegg last year. When I tried to activate 14 months later, Quicken said the code had expired. I went back to Newegg, who required evidence of the 24 month validity period. A few days later, Newegg provided a replacement code, which I assume they got from Quicken. So, a bit of a hassle, but Newegg made things right.

Stopped using this software. It made too many financial transaction errors.

I've been looking for a replacement, however when I checked, it says MMEX does not support Bank sync. So were you manually downloading qfx/qif/csv or some other files and then import into MMEX to get your financial data?

I get that some people don't want to pay for a sub, but if banks and Financial institutions continue to change their connectivity for security and other issues, the software I use need to keep up with that, I guess that part of the sub comes in to pay for all that support. I haven't found any alternative that can get around this no matter how sucky this software is.

Can somebody comment on the advantage of using Quicken vs Mint? I want to make sure I'm not missing on anything. Thanks.
