5 Spirit II E-210 LP and 1 Genesis II E-315 LP ($415).

Pretty good prices at ~50% off.

I've got an original Spirit 3 burner from 2012. Still works great. These had a 7 year warranty on the burners and grates and Weber replaced mine at the 6 year mark free of charge.

They show 322 but when you scan it on the hand scanner they are 278

I'm really tired of the 2 decent years I get from a Charbroil. My 5 burner purchase from 2020 is so inconsistent with the heat. The only thing I may miss is the side burner, but it looks like these burners are so much better.

Guy on youtube is saying the only fault is it doesn't get super hot for searing steaks and he may have went with the three burner if he did it again.

Any thoughts on that?

They don't get anywhere near hot enough to do any real searing. I gave my E-410 away because I got sick of the performance.

So what performs better? I want a good gas grill. Also couldn't you just get thicker grates like cast iron grates and heat them up longer?

The temperature never gets to a point that you can sear well. Check out Napoleon grills for a better performer. Be prepared to pay for it though.
