This isn't a burr grinder, it's a blade grinder similar to spice grinder. Works, but won't give you consistent sized grinds. If you want to make a amazing cup of coffee, you'll need to invest in an actual burr grinder.

Picked one up for our Airstream trailer thanks! Great reviews. I eventually want a great burr grinder, but this will do for now.

This is great burr grinder, and it's under $60. It's not as good as a $300 grinder, obviously, but surprisingly good for the $. I've probably ground the equivalent of 200lbs of beans in it so far for my drip brewer.

Oops... I forgot to put link... Cuisinart DBM-8 Supreme Grind Automatic Burr Mill https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00018R...UTF8&psc=1

It didn't seem to like cacao nibs very much.... or rather my keurig didn't.

Had this one a while. Looks nice. Not too loud. Grinds quick enough. Would definitely recommend.

Been using this as a spice grinder for several years. It's not perfect but it's been really great and no real letdowns.

It's better to save for a burr grinder, or buy ground coffee. Blade grinders give inconsistent size, which changes the extraction process. Some grounds are large, lending to little extraction (weak), and some are small, leading to over extraction (bitter). This doesn't average out in the pot below. Burr grinders will give an even grind, and you can tweak the size to get the proper extraction for your equipment.

Fine for spices, bad for coffee. And if you really want a blade grinder for some reason, you can find them for like $5 at any thrift store.

Bad for coffee? Not bad. Just not as good as a burr. You're right about the price. No reason to pay more than $10 for a blade/spice grinder. Used blade grinders for 30 years with no real complaint about a morning pot of Joe. Much better than buying ground. If you check today's listings, there's a low end burr for $20. Not great, but a better deal than this.
