These will keep getting bigger and bigger until they are as big as your convection oven. Then you will have two convection ovens that are the same size.
If space saving is your primary concern, see the ninja 13 in 1 air fryer deal at kohls now (there's a recent post here too somewhere). We love it bc it's powerful and folds upright, huge space saver.

The ninja functions great (fans are well placed for this type), and cuts cooking time 20-40% shorter (I didn't believe it per their directions…but def true, from experience).

The big potential negative vs egg shaped is the grease tray/fat collection. It's small, thin and flat, thus gotta be careful. Need to line with foil everytime, otherwise anything that drips (or crumbs) may land on places you can't see or clean…until you smell the burn/smoke the next time.

I use my egg one for any fatty meats. And just scrape the bottom of it with a steel brush.
Good price, but I searched Google - this item is also listed on Amazon [amazon.com]. While, for the most part, the reviews are good - the ones that caught my eye said it shouldn't be used under upper cabinets - it gets that hot. And that the instructions suck.

Same! Following...

Like the idea of having both the toaster and airfryer in one, saves counter space. Just get worried when companies try to incorparate to many features and none of them end up working well.
Will wait for some more feedback before I bite.

Wow, that little rotating basket is a great idea. I kinda wish more companies would incorporate something like that.

I don't have this specific one, but I have a similar model. I use mine literally every single day. The only time I use my oven is if I'm doing a big meal prep. My only complaint is kind of a flaw if you will of the design of the door. Most air fryer food has lots of crumbs and you ideally cook them on a rack for the air. So it's a constant battle trying to come up with better ways to gather the food without making a mess of the front door/hinge. Cooking bacon in an air fryer comes out great and fast but the fat always manages to find its way to the front glass. The tray style seems more convenient cleaning wise but I would miss the rotisserie features. Just wish they opened like a microwave or something to the side instead of down like an oven.

So...I should keep my eyes out for a french door style one?

This is what I was thinking when I saw this. But, I wonder how the chaff is going to affect the oven..

Depending on the size of the holes in the roasting rotating piece it could be fine

That would make the heat escape quickly in the event you need to check during use. That may effect the quality of quick/bake due to heat fluctuations.
