Good lord. Those exclusive items are going for $40-$80 on eBay, and you could easily sell the controller for $40-$45. That'd reasonably bring the price down to about $200, which is nuts for the kind of emulation/GamePass/Plex machine this is. Anyone thinking of shelling out for an Nvidia Shield right now should consider this deal.

Also remember in todays tech/games…500gb is nothing. You'll need an external drive or use their streaming service

This is the same age. This is the less expensive model that came out at the same time. It will provide nearly identical performance, but not at 4K resolution. It has less SSD space and no disc drive, as well. This is a system for digital only and the Game Pass. It's a great system if you don't mind playing between 900P and 1440P (depending on the game).

Nope, Xbox consoles are very particular about their disc drives due to piracy, so usb drives are a no go and the series s is essentially permanently discless.

Crazy how prevalent the Series S is—was in a local Target and they had 4 locked up in stock. Not a Series X or PS5 to be found anywhere. But what Microsoft is smart about is this is really the precursor to the next generation of systems—an inexpensive way to play streaming games via GamePass.
