The Series S with Game pass is the best deal in gaming, period.

Good lord. Those exclusive items are going for $40-$80 on eBay, and you could easily sell the controller for $40-$45. That'd reasonably bring the price down to about $200, which is nuts for the kind of emulation/GamePass/Plex machine this is. Anyone thinking of shelling out for an Nvidia Shield right now should consider this deal.

If I didn't already have one, I would be all over this.
Might even make sense for the Flippers Hmmmm

agreed with those above regarding the XBox One Series S with GamePass being the best value available and i'll extend that statement to probably for the next couple years.

If I wasn't saving for a steam deck, I'd be all over this. Really looking forward to seeing what these go for on BF.
Xbox Series S was selling for $250 before so a $200 Black Friday deal is possible.

Is this bette than gaming pc for same price?
Xbox Series S will beat a $300 gaming PC. But PC games are generally cheaper than console games and PC does not require a subscription for online multiplayer.

They are both F2P games, so you wouldn't be selling the games themselves, but you could potentially sell the cosmetics for each game that come in this bundle - wouldn't be able to tell you the market for the items though, but an easy ebay search should tell you.

It's not a separate physical DLC code card like other bundles. It's bonded to the system itself. If you want to sell it, the winning buyer will have to send you their Xbox login/password so you can claim it on their behalf.

Just a heads up for those out there that may be wanting to get this for children. This is not the new Series X (which is still hard to find).
Is there a difference, one is digital and the other has disks, X vs S. Or is there something special for X that's more kids friendly? I also got X Box Ultimate Pass, but haven't used it.. haven't activated yet, it's good for entire year or two.. and get that all the time, The downside is I only got Wii 2nd gen lol

Lol No it's not plenty of stores like best buy/target have them. You can even order off Walmart with a WM+ account for $13. Xbox series X been in stock on Walmart since March 14th & still can be added to cart right now.
This is far from the truth. They are actually hard to find. Walmart is known to sit on supply for months before releasing them. I live in tucso. Arizona and the series x has been out of stock here and in phoenix almost immediately

2 contollers cost you 100. Don't think you can buy a gaming PC at $200.

I've been holding out for a ps5 and using my ps4 in the mean time, but this is really tempting…especially if there's a way to sell the extras

So, initially, I was wondering what in the world you were talking about when you said "exclusive items".

At first, I thought this was just a bundle that includes Fortnite and Rocket League, even though they're F2P games. But, yeah, it apparently includes in-game items for both games that are exclusive. I checked ebay sold listings and found some selling for as low as $40 for both RL and Fortnite items, but others were a bit higher. Color me surprised.

For anyone thinking about reselling the items, it's important to note that it's not as simple as sending a redeemable code to the buyer. Here are the details I saw on the eBay listings of what they have to do.It reads almost like a scam:

CONSOLE NOT INCLUDED! TO REDEEM, STEPS BELOW MUST BE FOLLOWED AFTER PAYMENT AS DLC IS ONLY REDEEMABLE ON MY CONSOLE:

1.) Send your Xbox Live Username and Password to me via eBay message after payment has been made
2.) I will claim the DLC Pack with your Xbox Live using my console (This process will be photographed and recorded via video for proof purposes)
3.) I will delete your Xbox Live account from my console and the DLC Pack will now be tied to your Xbox Live account
4.) I will remove your account from my Xbox. You should change your xbox password.
5.) No refunds after the code has been redeemed given the nature of the item. Confirmation slip will be shipped to your address.

Can't even get $200 for these on Offerup or Facebook anymore. People finally realizing these are a waste of money.

Save up and get the X, you'll thank me later.
Agreed. These don't seem like they'll hold value. I'd assume these will easily have sale prices sub-$200 at some point. I think the only reason they had been able to keep it at $300 for a while was because no one could get the series X, so it was the only option.

I plan on being patient and waiting out the supply issues. Even with the series x, the only reason to upgrade from an Xbox one is better performance/4k. It's not like there's any games you're missing out on right now.

Idk why that person mentioned kids. Age doesn't matter between any console. However, there are big differences between this one and the Xbox Series X. The X can do native 4K at up to 120 frames per second (fps). This can only do (sometimes) upscaled 4K, but a lot of stuff is still only up to 1440p, and most games, like Guardians of the Galaxy, still only hit 30fps on this. Some games will hit 60fps, but I anticipate fewer and fewer games will hit that mark, since they're getting more demanding.

The X has almost twice the storage, and the rest of the specs are at least twice as high as this. This isn't just a disc-free version, it's significantly weaker than the Series X. Unlike the digital PS5, which IS just a disc-free version. This is just barely a step up from the last generation.
