Just an FYI... You may have already figured this out. I had a year plan that was good through next month. I went ahead and canceled last night and tried to sign up with the link and like you mentioned, it said I already had a subscription. I tried again tonight (about 24 hours later) and it went through with no problems. I used the same name and credit card. When I went to the discovery+ app on my phone and on Roku it signed in with the same password and all the shows I had been watching were still there.

Because this deal is much cheaper than HBO MAX for a year, plus they will grandfather those current Discovery + subscribers in.
