An extra $40 off the already discounted price. Now $96.18 f/s Prime.

Best price I've seen. Not available from Zwilling, com who only had the smaller one at $150 which is now sold out. Hand crafted in France. The round rim without the pour spout allows tight sealing with a lid. The 24 cm lid from my L.C. oven fits nicely and allows shallow braising. I've owned the original vintage version of this 9-1/2" 24 cm skillet for 20 years. It has served me well.

Sleek, refined compared to the base models which Staub typically offers in the U.S. Has not been readily available in U.S.

Durability: Safe to 464 F. Rugged chip resistant matte enamel finish accepts but does not require seasoning. Retains its beauty year after year

Clean up: easy

Sanitary healthy non-reactive: Salt in pan with no fear of pitting. Free of heavy metals.

Eggs: With practice eggs slide out after seasoning when seasoned and heated correctly.

Browning searing: excellent, safe up to 464 F

Non stick: Optional wipe with a thin layer of oil followed by heating to allow polymerization achieves a slick stick-free surface Stir frying with sauce may result in some sticking with a short soak required but still easy clean up.

Oven: Safe to 464 F with the handle removed

I own the 1990's version. I leave the handle off for oven and storage advantage. Easier with the old longer stub. This one I'd make my own oven safe extension. Can't give these enough accolades for design function food release durability. Sorry you missed the deal.
