Your points are exactly on point. I build PCs for clients so I'm hyper aware of specs at various price points and this is not it. This would of been a maybe a year ago while we were still in the GPU apocalypse but not anymore. Lenovo Legion prebuilts are usually the best quality/parts wise but you have to look at the price too to critically whether it holds true.

The 1.4k Strix Hotbox from Best Buy is argubly a better buy than this with the 11700F/3070 for $1399. Don't get me wrong though, it's not that good either but for $400 less for fairly similar specs, I'd rate it better. I've attached a video from someone who bought it below to give you an idea

I'd honestly just be on the lookout for deals, GPU prices are falling rapidly. There was a Asus 3070 Ti TUF for $699 for almost an hour yesterday. Asus plans to slash their 30 series GPU prices by as much as 30% in the near future for reference.

I am curious if the community finds this a good deal. Lots of RAM, but last gen Intel processor. Prices are coming down, this would have been a great deal a few months ago imo, now I am not so sure... Thoughts everyone?

I'm looking for something to upgrade from my Asus Tuf laptop with Ryzen 7 3750H, gtx 1660 ti.. anything to play latest games at full settings would be grand. Would this be a good machine for me? The laptop did fairly well at some games at max.

Repeated code of conduct violations (things like racism, slurs, etc.), but verified cheating is the number one way.

Stops them from just creating a new account and doing whatever they did again. Mainly for free to play games since it is so easy to just make a new account and play again.
