This popular deal is occasionally comes on sale at Home Depot for $100 and often reaches front page. $10 shipping for those who do not have a direct tools outlet nearby or in stock. combine shipping with other products such as the Ryobi 4 amp battery 2 pack with charger.

please note that the tool is brushed not brushless

Really? I've used this for 3 years to remove lug nuts, Jeep suspension parts, mower blades and anything else I've tried. Are you using the 3 speed selector switch? I have the new model but use this one all the time.

This is the only Ryobi tool I've been disappointed in. Not enough torque to take off lawn mower blade bolts or lug nuts.
how tight are your bolts and nuts? specs says up to 300ft/lbs torque, lug nuts should be around 90ish?

I picked up the 3/8" version for $54 on clearance. I could return that one, then get this one for $73. Seems like a good deal for me...

Do it. You won't regret it. I have the HP 3/ 8 version and it's pretty lacking on power even with a six amp hour HP battery. I have this tool as well and it's significantly stronger despite being about the same price. Plus, 3/8 socket sets don't go nearly as large as half-inch ones do, but half-inch socket sets go all the way down to like 8 mm so if you're only gonna have one tool half inch sockets cover a notably larger spread of sizes.
