Am I missing something? Target already already has free shipping over $35 and Bed Bath and Beyond already has free shipping over $39.
Shipt does same day delivery.

There are some items which Target offers for delivery, but not for shipping.

Nothing new - this has been available for 6 months now.

Is there tipping required? Because then it's not free.

Shipt is great, but if you want same-day delivery from Target, use the target website or the Target app instead of the Shipt app when using Shipt services. The target app will have the same in-store prices, unlike the Shipt app, where mostly everything is marked up, in my experience.

Tipping isn't required, it's an option. It's typically expected for anyone in the service industry and always appreciated

Tipping is not required, but Shipt shoppers only make anywhere from $7-12 for shopping an order that could take an hour or more in total, and it doesn't include their gas used

You can use the Shipt app for same day delivery from Target, and Target prices are the same. At least in my experience. Target owns Shipt so their prices should match. The only advantage I've found using Target directly is that I can use my discounted Target gift cards.

Just canceled - the Visa Signature - to many times shopper never let me know there where items that where not available and while texting with them to let me know.. still poor service - Luckily Shipt will not give you that same shopper again if you rate them 2 STARS or below.
But not being able to use the shipt promos on shipt website along with your TARGET gift cards when ordering from Target through shipt was just not worth it.

had more problems than good -

( and as noted this promotion has been here a while )

Tips can also kill the promos -

Seems like the business model is flawed if you have to make the case for tipping. Companies should take care of their employees instead of putting their livelihood in the hands of random strangers. Building a living wage into the service needs to be the norm.

Don't let them fool ya, there's a reason why people take low pay with tips over a standard $15 an hour job, they do better.

My mother worked as a barmaid back in the lat 70s, fresh out of high school. She still talks about how much she made in tips. For every person that doesn't tip, they more than make up for it with other customers.

Unfortunately, this 'entitled' generation thinks that tipping is required for every little thing that they do.

No need to tip, only do it if there was an above and beyond circumstance.

Tipping for any kind of delivery is an exception and not a norm - for me.
My comment was not helpful. Just like Shipt's business model where employees are at the mercy of its customers for filling the void in their capitalist employer's pay shortage.
