You need to add the free battery to the order. At checkout it'll have both items prorated and you'll need to return or cancel the battery. If you have never done the homedepot hack you need to have the item you want for instore pickup and then the item you don't want for ship to home. Once you place your order you'll need to cancel the order and only the ship to home item will be canceled and the instore pickup item will stay prorated.
edit: sometimes on the app it cancels the whole order, you might need to do it on a desktop.

You buy the 4 tool kit and add the 'free' battery. Tool kit needs to be pick up in store and ship the battery. In the checkout it'll show the discounted price on each. About $75 for the tool kit and $65 for the battery. Once you get confirmation that the order went through, go back in and cancel the shipping on the battery. You can still do the pick up of the 4 piece toolkit at the $75 price point. It's a hack, but this isn't a new post, just something that was recycled from 2 weeks ago. i picked my kit up on Friday after the mislabled Impact driver issues from Wednesday.
If you didn't do this then you need to wait for everything to come in and return the battery.
If you did do this then you might need to try on desktop to cancel the ship to home only.

Still salty about that "2 batteries + driver" bait an switch they pulled last week which wasted an hour+ of my time.
