Great to see stock finally coming back after a long couple years
Yeah, I am still on AMD Vega 64 (that too Vega 56 original FW converted to 64, not full 64) when the price came down for few months and I guess the next AMD GPU version was out.
Any idea why the prices are coming down? More being made? Less people buying? Market saturated? Intel GPU competition? Has anyone seen articles on this issue? TIA
$329 is the MSRP on the RX 6600 although this model might be worth a bit more than that due to 3 fans. Getting closer to long missed normality!
1 extra fan on a card that doesn't even need it does not justify the increase but it's nice to see them come down! This trades blows with a 3060. Don't think the RTX fanboys will ever be convinced to jump over to AMD though.

China clamping down on cryptocurrency and limited shipments to Russia I think
Prices are coming down because Ethereum proof of stake fork is scheduled to happen in June. Once that happens, you will no longer be able to mine ETH, so people (including me) are dumping our GPUs.
The RTX 40xx cards are also expected to launch late this year, they're substantially more powerful than then 30xx cards, but power consumption on them is pretty insane (they would make terrible mining cards for any ALT crypto).

I sold my Vega 56 for $650 in January and got a 6600xt for the same price. So traded up. If that's still possible you'd be sitting at a trade out into a 6700xt or 3060ti which would be a big improvement over a flashed 56.
