I would stay away from Razer mouse. Fatal design flaw with the grip. Had one that was broken after several months of normal use. Tech support would not replace it.

I've had mine for two years without issue, had a mamba for a decade before that, and a diamondback for about a decade before that. All have been excellent for me. Razer has definitely had QC issues in the past, but it seems to have improved in the past few years. Was it the rubber grip that separated and do you know if it's a common issue? I just read through the 40 most recent reviews of this listing and not a single one mentions it. It seems a bit hyperbolic to call it a "fatal design flaw".

I highly recommend this mouse if you're looking for a lightweight mouse intended for fingertip or claw grip and don't mind a wire. That being said, there are alternatives if you prefer to avoid the Razer brand.

I've had the wireless version of this mouse for a while and it's great. Solid battery, great performance, and still looks clean

Echoing others in the thread. I have the wireless version of this and love it. The layout, shape, and switches are all great.

While my experience are opposite. I have used logitech for years and changed to razor last year.
All my logitech mouse had click/wheel issue after 6 ~ 18 months use. Razor deathadder V2 doesn't has any issue and performed way better in dota2 due to it's lightweight. I have gained around 1000 mmr ( from archon to ancient) since I switched to razor.

Since when is "light weight" a feature? That's pretty universally agreed to mean "feels cheap" in peripherals.

People who use them extensively. Especially for gaming and long sessions appreciate lightweight mice. They move more effortlessly and generally have less hand fatigue. There are some that prefer more "heft" if you will as well.

If you get over the light feels cheap mindset, many prefer light.
