Too many hoops (or I don't understand the deal).

I have to buy a giftcard from this website, which is actually a giftcard to use at another giftcard website, which can then be used to purchase a giftcard.

Am I missing something? If not, I'm passing on this obstacle course.
I had issue on previous deal which included Under Armour. Since these are treated as "debit cards", if I want to order something over the debit card amount, I wasnt able to use this eGC since the site wouldnt let me do multiple payment methods in 1 transaction. Eg. $50+ $7.50 egc for a $100 purchase. Normally It would be $57.50 eGC payment+ $42.5 credit card payment.

Then on the flipside, if I order something less such as $50 item.. then I'm left with $7.50 that I can't use unless i buy an item for $7.50 or less. So there will always be $ left on the card.

Anyone know a way to get around this? I couldn't figure out how to combine eGC - not sure it's possible.

never had that issue. Buy it, exchange it for a Lowe's gift card. I have used more than one of these for the same purchase.

Depends on which one you're getting.
Some of them are exchanges sorta like what you describe (the online redemption ones) and some of them are just card that is like a debit card that can be used at the listed stores. No exchange needed once you receive.

That's a good idea. It probably depends on the store/site.

Under Armour only allows purchases of GC in amounts of $25, $50, $100.. so I'm kinda stuck in the same situation.

But other sites that allow any value GC purchase or multiple payment methods would work without an issue. I guess it's just UA was more restrictive and less flexible. I chatted with CS and they said they didnt allow multiple payment options.

I had the same problem with trying to use one of these for Lowes online - these cards say to enter it as a credit card, but if there's not enough to pay the entire order it rejects it. I spent half an hour on the phone and the csr was trying to figure out how to split payments but while I was on hold I finagled my cart to about 65 cents less than the card value and put it through that way and hung up. I have no idea if I could use up the change on the card in store, but for under a dollar I'm not bothering to waste my time trying. These cards aren't worth the hassle. I did try using the 'happy' card to buy a lowe's gift card, it rejected it and so I checked the back of the card, and it excludes gift card purchases so that option isn't an option either.

The gamestop card from your list isn't an e-card, since it's trying to make me pay for shipping during checkout? https://www.giftcardmall.com/deal...ft-card-29

One of the many reasons I avoid most gift cards in general. I've bought several times from under armour, and with a bit of patience there's often some type of a coupon or a discount or cashback offer and that comes close enough for me, and then I don't have to worry about keeping track of gift cards or worrying about the gift card getting hacked and used without me realizing it.
