These don't exactly play nice with the Amazon headend. They were fine with Google but they don't transition well to the Amazon setup. YMMV

I have a dozen different brands of these types of devices and the kasa/tplink ones are the only ones I consistently have issues with which sucks because I have 3 outlets and 2 bulbs. Govee is the only other one that gives me trouble but that's like once a year I have to do a hard reset and re-add.

My guess it's because of my pihole or something else on my network restricting access but it's amazing that the cheap no name chinese ones work fine but these don't.

strange. have pihole and tplink/kasa with no issues even with one outlet are far end of house with low wifi signal. more issues with wemo/belkins.
