Riding Lawn Mower Sales?

Just moved into my first house and I'm going to need a riding lawn mower. Did some searching and it seems like only the push mowers really come up on here? Not much used stuff on craigslist (also way overpriced) but a few on Facebook marketplace. They all look kinda crusty like they've been kept outside though.
Do more sales show up around spring or do they just jack the prices up?
Have my eye on this Cub Cadet XT1 Enduro LT 46" [homedepot.com] that's available at Home Depot, Tractor Supply, and a local Knoxville powersports place.
Thing is $2400 at the moment and wondering if I should hold out for a deal in the next few months or not bother if its only going to be like a $100 discount.
Thoughts and opinions please. The grass is starting to grow..
