Samsung bought Harmon audio and promptly shut down Digitech and let go all their engineers. This is just old stock but this great pedal company is no longer unless someone buys the name.

If you're happy with the dirt you've got, you don't need anything else. Anyway, I think the BD-2 is a lot more flexible, with its tone control. Its gain can also reach almost-distortion-level.

Thanks lol. I just found a YouTube comparing the BD-2 and an original DOD Preamp, they sound close enough. I think I'll pass on this deal 👍🏻

Speaking of Digitech. Glad I bought and kept my 2101s. Sound great wired up to any of the simulators. Just use good tubes or TADs.

I know it's not exactly the same thing but JHS just put out their tribute/clone of the DOD 250 with two settings and it costs $179. At the sale price for the DOD you are getting one setting for less than half that cost—if you want to view it that way.

Edit: I bought one bc who doesn't need another overdrive.

Thanks. Bought the 250 & Meatbox. Got also the others when they were on sale ~ 1.5 years ago … buy them as long as they're still available! … wondering why no other manufacturer is just buying the brand as it has such a good reputation …
