Check it out on CL yourself you lazy miscreant you.
I have this bench. It's fine. But the price doesn't seem great. Normal price was like $85 about a year ago, and I got $20 off the combo of this bench and the progear rack. For $65 or so, this is a good deal.

Wheels are useless. I just pick it up to move it.
Because, as an adjustable incline bench, if it went to 90 then it would have no forward support and would be subject to flopping over in the wrong direction and possibly being damaged.

By staying slightly under 90, it can ensure that it never reaches that tipping point, and that the user's bodyweight will keep it pressed against it's only direction of support.

90 degree benches, including those that are adjustable, require bi-directional support and/or locking mechanisms. This style of bench uses gravity to stay secure. It does not have a locking pin.

Got it, been using it weekly for 2 years. No complaints here and still looks new. Doesn't feel cheap, but as others said, wheels are useless

I bought this on Sunday based on the previous post and it was delivered via FEDEX Ground on Thursday. It is a great bench. Very stable and versatile. It is a great value.
I concur. Got one for the frat house and it has seen plenty of action during the initiation process and still standing. Easy to wipe down astroglide as well.

Can someone tell me the height from floor to seat? I bought a cheap bench during COVID but the seat was 18.9" high, and my legs weren't long enough so benching on it hurt my back.
I tried another that was 16.5" and that felt like what I was used to at the gym.
would love to know if somebody knows this as well. I'm pretty short (5'5"). I probably will end up ordering it and seeing for myself, give that walmart's return policy is pretty good.

Thanks, got one. Should be a good improvement from doing dumbbell press on the floor.

I just got mine today. I am a little bit disappointed. I think the price is right and it offers a lot, but as i tried the bench for myself i noticed the seating area was rather flat. I am replacing my old incline bench and that one has a declining angle seat which helps put yourself in a better position and actually helps support your lower back in the process. This bench has an option for a declining seat but it is no where near my previous benches angle and to be honest between the flat angle and the declining angle on the Progear, I can barely notice a difference. Also the bench seat itself sits pretty tall and I can't drive into the ground as I can with my previous one. https://www.amazon.com/Weider-WEB...ess&sr=1-3 , this is the current one I am using which is much lower to the ground. Hope this helps.

Anyone have any thoughts on how it might compare to this one from Amazon for $65? https://www.amazon.com/Marcy-Mult...138&sr=8-5 [amazon.com]
Many reviews on Amazon do mention that there is a height cutoff of about 5'10"mainly due to the length and design of the leg portion. Therefore, it might be too small for those who are 5'10 or taller. I'm 6'4, ProGear 1300 might be a better option for me.

If you are at all serious about stability get this Xmark refurb and use code xmark20.
Comes out to $164. These benches are fantastic. I've had one for 8 years or so.

This just arrived. Love it way more stable than my old CAP one.

Kick ass. For the price, it's tops in the mid level bench if you need or want the upgrade from "CAP" level.
Not that you can't get good use out of "CAP" level stuff. Don't want to poke the bees in the eyes here.

Good call. I heeded your advice and bought the refurbished Xmark bench. I really like the added incline functionality and overall build quality.
