Don't forget to check your water utility to see if they offer a rebate for getting one of these smart controllers. Mine is offering an $80 rebate right now.

I have the rain bird wifi controller, which kind of sucks but it's functional. Has anyone upgraded from that to this rachio brand? Wondering if it's worth it.

Anyone tried and compared rachio vs b-hyve? I have B-hyve 10-zones been working great for 5 years but the app is a little confusing.

I wish the outdoor setup would go on sale. Everyone in south Florida has the control system on the sides of their houses

Rachio seem a little better in term of ease of use and support ,but i wouldn't upgrade if i was you because it pretty close in term of feature unless you want more automation and a little more ease of use.

Same. Got one last year and received a full rebate through utility bill credits.

I have a b-hyve system. Any advantage to moving to this? I like the physical buttons on the device itself and also love control over phone.

Got this deal maybe 2 years ago. Also got a rebate from my local water district.

I hate that they still don't have all the HomeKit issues resolved (*maybe* this summer??? At least they still act like they're really working on it.) but even if that never happens, I still really like the product.

I did bought the Rachio last year during fall season but didn't install it until maybe a few weeks ago. Installation was a breeze, and the app is so much better.

I have 4 zones, is there a cheaper one like 6 zones?
I would go with the Orbit B-Hyve 4 zone on Amazon for $70. I bought it about a year ago for $50 and it hasn't missed a beat. The rain delay isn't perfect but has helped save water compared to a set schedule.

I just installed a Rachio 3e that I got from Amazon warehouse for <$100. Absolutely love it. I compared Wyze, B-Hyve, and Rachio. I'm very happy with my choice. This is a good price.
